The DR Congo intermediate selection currently in Cameroon for the 2020 African Nations Championship has recieved a huge boast as they prepare for their quarter-final game against host Cameroon on Saturday, January 30.
The Leopards will have a larger squad to pick from in the game at the Japoma stadium on Saturday evening as first choice keeper Ley Matamphi, defender Guy Serge Mukumi and Doxa Gikanji who have missed crucial games in the ongoing African Nations Championship due to the Covid-19 have tested negative this Wednesday.
The three players are expected to join the rest of the squad in training this evening in Douala.
Coach Florent Ibenge and upto eleven of his players have tested positive for the Covid-19 pandemic.
Cameroon who have beaten DR Congo in the CHAN finished second in group A and have the Group B winners to battle with for a semi-final spot.
