Leonel Ateba Christian Mbida has settled well into life at PWD after his first training session under Martin Nkabyo.
The forward, who completed his move from champions Cotonsport last week, was pictured alongside other new recruits Api Eric, Fabrice Fotue and Ning Che at the Big Mankon Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.
PWD lured Ateba to Bamenda to fill a gap in centre-forward after allowing forward Nchindo John Bosco and others to leave earlier in the summer.
The 23-year-old completed a series of fitness and on-ball drills in training to build his fitness ahead of the three competitions next season.
Ateba is expected to lead the line in Martin Nkabyo’s starting line-up in front of the attacking midfield or add to the attacking midfield next season.
During his three-year tenure at Fortuna, Ateba scored goals for fun.
However, the Cameroon international started just 12 games under Souleymanou Aboubakar and Gabriel Hamann was ultimately unable to secure a regular place in attack, a situation he wants to correct at PWD.
Ateba has penned a two-year deal with PWD as they build for three competitions
