Cameroon forward Léandre Gaël Tawamba Kana lifted the King Cup in Saudi Arabia after helping his team Al-Tawoon FC to a 2-1 win in the final against Al-Ittihad.
Tawamba scored the winner at the 90th minute of the game.
The last time Al-Tawoon FC reached the final was in 1990 when the lost to Al Nasr. It was also the first time they are lifting the trophy which Al-Ahli have won for a record 13 times.
The 29 years old much traveled former Aigle of Menoua and Union of Douala striker had played for teams in Slovakia, Tunisia, South Africa amongst others before joining Al-Tawoon in Saudi Arabia from Partizan of Belgrade from Serbia last season.
He has since been a a great signing for them. He is currently the second top goal scorer in the league with 19 league goals with his club Al-Tawoon currently ranked fourth in the league.
