Indomitable Lions of Cameroon and Al-Taawoun forward Léandre Kana Tawamba was amongst the goals for Saudi Pro league side Al-Taawoun this Monday in an emphatic match-day nine of the top-flight championship.
Al-Shabab gritty in the opening exchanges and prevented Al-Taawoun from enjoying the regular flow of their attacking football.
It took until 41st for Al-Taawoun to score the opener through Iago Santos.
Al-Taawoun took the one-nil advantage to the break.
Sandro Manoel doubled that lead in the 65th minutes before Tawamba made it three from the penalty spot.
Malek Al-Abdulmenem scored the fourth and final goal in the 4-0 win.
The match-day nine victory is Al-Taawoun’s third of the season and it leaves them on the 4th spot with 14 points as they have played a draw in five games and lost just once.
Al-Taawoun will be on the road against Al-Ain in match-day ten of the championship.
31-year-old Léandre Tawamba has scored once in six appearances this season.
