Super Eagles of Nigeria have moved to the 42nd position on the just released monthly Federation of International Football Associated (FIFA) Coca-Cola Rankings for men football.

This followed the team’s 3-1 triumph over Seychelles and slim 1-0 victory over 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) host, Egypt. By virtue of this ranking, Nigeria is now third (3rd) in Africa with 1435 points behind Senegal in first position (1515 points) and Tunisia in second position (1491 points).

Generally, Belgium remains the top footballing country in the world with 1737 points ahead of World Champions , France in second position (1734 points) and Brazil in third position (1676 points).

The FIFA Rankings was released this morning, Thursday, April 4, 2019. The next ranking is expected to be released early next month (May).
