Indomitable of Lions Cameroon and Royal Antwerp striker Didier Lamkel Ze scored one as his side recorded a comfortable 2-0 victory away at Club Brugge on Sunday.
Ze and compatriot Martin Hongla started the game for Antwerp, with the latter operating from the middle of the park.
The striker scored his side’s first goal in the 9th minute of the game as Antwerp looked bent on taming the leaders.
The thrilling encounter produced Antwerp’s second goal in the 43rd minute when lead striker Ivan Rafaelov converted a penalty for the second-seded side.
The game stayed on the 2-0 score till the end of the first segment.
Upon resumption for the second-half Antwerp up their organization at the back.
Multiple incursions from the leaders were stopped by the vigilant Antwerp backline.
Antwerp cruise to another comfortable win as the game headed towards full-time.
To make matters worse for the host their lead striker Noa Lang was sent off in the 89th minute.
The game ended on a 2-0 score for visiting Antwerp who 24 points of the leaders who boast of 74 points with five League games before the end of the season.
Ze and Hongla played the entire game for second-placed Antwerp while compatriot Franck Boya was an unused substitute.
24-year old Ze has scored seven goals and assisted three in 17 games this season.
His form earned him the player of the month award in February.
Antwerp returns to activities after the international break.
