Former Generation Foot Academy forward Lamine Gueye is in advanced negotiations with French Ligue 1 side, FC Metz and he could be the club’s first signing this summer.
Lamine will be a free agent after June 30th, 2020, making him available for FC Metz and other potential suitors.
The 22-year-old Senegalese forward enjoyed a brilliant 2019-2020 season scoring 16 goals and providing 7 assists in 28 games to mastermind FC Pau’s promotion tp the French Ligue 2 championship.
The striker only move to Europe from Generation Foot in the summer of 2018.
He could be playing in the French Ligue 1 if all goes as planned.
The 2018 Senegalese Cup winner is one of the hottest properties in the amateur championships in France. It is nearly certain he will leave FC Pau, but there is uncertainty about his next Club though Metz have held talks with his entourage and are favorites in the race for his signature.
