Former Fulham midfield anchor- Frank Zambo Anguissa has been voted Man of the match in Spain as Villarreal were held to a goalless draw with Athletico Bilbao.

Anguissa played for 80 minutes before substituted for his side in a rather disappointing home draw.

He recorded an amazing 66 touches , 90.6% pass accuracy, won four ground duels out of seven, won one of three aerial duels and made two clearances.

The 23-year-old midfielder joined Villarreal on loan in June from present Championship side Fulham.

He has started in ten of eleven matches he has played since his arrival and looks to have imposed himself within the Spanish outfit.

Villarreal failed to score for the first time since April 2019 and have dropped to the 8th spot with 18 points.

They face RCD Mallorca next.
