Turkish giants Fenerbahçe are keen on securing the services of Ghanaian international defender Kwadwo Asamoah from Inter Milan, according to reports from Football Ghana.
Fenerbahçe had expressed an interest in signing the Ghanaian full back in February last year and they have identified Asamoah as the ideal player to bolster their backline.
Fenerbahçe will have to compete with Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim who have also been keeping tabs on the Ghanaian.
However, the Turkish Super Lig side is more determined to land the Inter defender.
Inter have been reported to have interest in many other left-full backs which suggests that the future of Asamoah should no longer be at the Giuseppe Meazar Stadium, though his current contract runs till June next year.
Asamoah has struggled with game time this season, making just 11 appearances across all competitions, providing just an assist. His season has also been marred by a serious knee injury.
The 31-year-old joint Inter in 2018 after spending six years with Juventus where he won six league titles and four Italian Cup trophies.
The former Udinese player has won 73 caps for Ghana since 2008, scoring four goals.
