One of the youngest of coach’s in the Southwest of Cameroon coach Teteh Edwin, popular referred to as his ‘tactical highness’ has bagged home gold in the first edition of the Kunde Malong Soccer Mania, and he was just so jubilant to see hard work pay.
The former Dynamic FC coach told reporters after his team won on post match penalties, “I am Happy and elated right now. I feel overwhelmed with joy to be champion of this maiden edition of the Kunde Malong u-14 tournament”.
“Enormous work has been put in. Anything Academy needs enormous work, and also to put the children in order. They need control, attention, and follow up. The work with the children is more out of the field than in the field. In the field however, we have tried to put our philosophy to make sure the same thing done with the senior team is the same thing – we take down to the cadet and I want to say I am proud with what the children. It shows that the are really responding. The final today was very tough but I thank God”.
There was joy around the coach experiencing his first spell as coach of NQSA as they are equally a handful at the Southwest regional championship this season.
