Coming into the game, Cameroon had the obligation to right the wrongs of Praia having lost 3-1 in their last outing.
Cameroon’s Portuguese gaffer made sweeping changes but kept a starting spot for Kunde in the second consecutive game highlighting his importance to his plans.
The 25-year old was simply commanding in the new offensive midfield role making a number of incisive runs and picking pocket of spaces in the Rwandan backline.
Though on multiple occasions Kunde wasn’t allowed the space to display his trademark long range shots, he remained a menace to the plans of coach Vincent Mashami.
