Osun Babe’s defender, Kuku Oluwadamilola Idowu says her Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) side, Osun Babes will recover from their Match Day Two 3-1 away defeat to FC Robo Queens when they trade tackles with Pelican Stars.
The former Capital City Doves defender exuded confidence in her side’s ability and capabilities.
“My expectations are so high. I just believe by God’s grace the three-point will be ours.
A lot happened, but in all situations, we just have to give thanks losing to FC Robo is not the end of us. We will use our next game to bounce back from our last defeat.” She told www.kick442.com.
Monday Gift scored the first hat-trick of the 2021 NWFL Premiership season to hand FC Robo Queens a 3-1 win over Osun Babes after the visitors had initially defeated Ibom Angels 0-1 in their season opener.

After two games on the road, Osun Babes will play their first home game of the season on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, when they host Pelican Stars in Osogbo for their NWFL Premiership Match Day three tie.
