PWD of Bamenda’s Veteran striker Konyuy Jude is off to a flying startin g in the 2019 League one season.The returning PWD of Bamenda striker scored his first PWD goal against APEJES within 5 minutes of kick off last Sunday at the YOSA stadium.
Jude’s goal plus a last minutes goal from captain Divine Mbeh gave the North West side their first top flight win in 15 years as the game finished 2-1 for the home side.
Jude’s goal started it all and now a popular video 6 seconds circulating on PWD social media handles have supporters of the club congratulating Jude for his goal on Sunday.One of the fans in the video told the striker that he was convinced the striker will score on Sunday and Jude replied in few words; “When you play with a coach that likes you, you give your all”
Jude joined PWD in the build up to this season to contribute in the coach Jean Baptiste Toguem success story given his experience in the Cameroon League. His goal for PWD means he has now scored for 5 different top flight clubs after previously doing so for Union Sportive of Douala,YOSA of Bamenda,UMS Loum and Feutcheu FC of Djiko.

Coach Toguem played for PWD and now has the duty to motivate his team replicate their last season form which may be difficult given they are new comers in a very demanding championship. Certainly if Konyuy continiously get the love and trust of the Coach and pay back the trust, then PWD of Bamenda are in for an interesting League One season.
