As the end of 2018-2019 Nigeria Women Premier League, NWPL season saw Chiamaka Nnadozie joining Paris FC, the goalkeeping onus at Rivers Angels will now be on the experienced shoulder of Super Falcons’ goalie and club captain, Tochukwu Oluehi if she doesn’t get an attractive deal elsewhere.
The former Ajiboso Queens, Victorious Queens, Macbeth who also had a stint at Belarusian side Bobruichanka Bobruisk is expected to bring her international and national team experience to the fore for the league champions next season if they must retain their league title. Keeping the former Ibom Angels netminder will be equal to keeping a precious stone at the Port Harcourt based club especially as she has a dream of retiring after a stint in Europe.

The 33-year-old asides from her penalty saves is capable of making fantastic saves that can win games for her team. In the course of 2017 season, the former Sunshine Queens shot-stopper made so many saves that you would think she had installed an invisible holo shield on the goal-line. Rivers Angels’ backline owes a lot to the goalkeeper’s incredible reflexes, and the ability to make multiple saves in the space of a few seconds. Ibom Angels, FC Robo Queens, and Abia Angels felt the amazing talents of the former Medkila shot-stopper.
This kind of saves is expected from the experienced goalkeeper when the league kicks off after COVID-19 pandemic depending on directives from the Ministry of Sports and the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF.
Tochukwu has amassed a lot of experience in the game and is playing her best football these days.
