Rachael Okotete joined Delta Queens in the course of 2018-2019 Nigeria Women Premier League (NWPL) season from Abia Angels, but couldn’t have much playing times for her new club during her first season.

In a recent chat with www.kick442.com Rachael said that she believes that next season will be better than last season for her and her club as she hopes to get more playing times.
“I believe that next season will be better than last season. The season will still be abridged in spite of this fact that I prefer a round-robin season, compare to last season where we only played six matches, there will be more games to play come next season. Unlike last season where we only have four teams in a group, now that we have eight teams each in a group, it means that we will play 14 games. This will be good for the competitive nature of the league.” She said.
