Former Adamawa Queens goalkeeper and current Edo Queens goalie, Obidinma Nkiruka was keeping 5 clean sheets after Match Day 5 of 2018-2019 Nigeria Women Premier League season and cruising to her 6th straight clean sheet until a midfielder showed up. It was the final group match of the season and Anuoluwapo Salisu of DreamStar FC Ladies emerged by spoiling the clean sheet show for Nkiruka and Adamawa Queens as Anu scored the first goal conceded by Nkiruka last season in the course of the season.
The young midfielder is an integral part of the Pride of Lagos as the young team build on their experience from last season going into next season.
Salisu is a member of the present Nigeria U17 Flamingoes and also the Assistant Captain of The Pride of Lagos. She has had the highest caps for DreamStar Ladies (13 caps) more than any other player in the team.
Anuoluwapo scored one of the best goals in the league against Adamawa Queens at the Agege Stadium last season. She won the Lagos State GTB Principal cup Most Valuable Player (MVP) in 2016.
Salisu Anuoluwapo is a rare gem with exceptional football qualities. She is a sensation and a player beyond definition. Her presence on the field is a plus any day any time.
Anu scored one goal and made three assists for her side last season from her midfield position.
