Newly promoted NNL side, Ottasulo FC mid-fielder, Odeyemi Omobolaji James is in the house with kick442.com know Nigerian Players.
Odeyemi Omobolaji James, like most footballers started his footballing journey at about 6/7years old in his neighbourhood in ojodu abiodun ogun state although he was born in Agege.
During his primary school days, he would street football, football in school compounds and anywhere football is played, he is always available not just to play football but also enjoy himself.
But at a point along the line, he started taking d game more seriously although it didnt affect his education, as he was combine both comfortably.
James started get slots to represent his class interclass matches and from there he joined one of the community football clubs in ojodu under coach Azeez and coach Bato before moving back to Agege where he joined Basic FC managed by Coach Jubril Bello.
Not long after in pursuit of his dream of playing professional football, he moved to Dosu Joseph Football Academy owned by ex international Dosu Joseph (M.O.N) where he spent few years.
He then got what he will call his first professionally deal with FC zamfara where he only spent half a season but now back in Lagos with Ottasolo FC.
Talking about his experience joining Ottasolo FC, he said;
“To be quiet honest, I have been hearing of the team for a while but wasn’t really moved about all they do but then I got the news about the team’s aspirations to become a household name as far as football is concerned both in Lagos and Nigeria as a whole.
“At a point they played against my team DJFA, the match which ended 2-2 and from there I got invited and the rest they say is history.”
“My happiest day as a footballer was when I signed my first professional contract with FC Zamfara but then accidentally my saddest day as a footballer was also when I left the club due to adminstrative issues which I won’t like to talk about,” he added.
“The day we secured the promotion NNL the feeling was amazing.
None of us could sleep throughout the night in our hotel, it was all joy as we were just singing and dancing and the club chairman was surely the happiest man on earth that day.”
Odeyemi Omobolaji James targets to also help Ottasolo FC gain promotion into the topflight of the Nigerian club football, the NPFL.
In his final words, he said;
My plans are to become prayerful while I also work hard pursuing my dreams. Remain humble, be determined and dedicated to everywhere I meet myself.
