Benin international defender Khalid Adenon has left Saudi Arabian top flight side Al Wahda on mutual consent.
The 34-year-old central defender is now a free agent and can join any club that desires his services.
Adenon left French Ligue 1 outfit Amiens last July, to sign for the Saudi Arabia club.
“For personal reasons, we agreed to terminate my contract with the Saudi Arabian club,” Adenon said on his social media page.
“Now I feel ready to bounce back and take a new challenge.”
Abdoul Khaled Akiola Adénon began is playing career in 2005 with Ivorian side ASEC Mimosas.
His European adventure began in 2008 with Le Mans, where he spent five years before moving to Bastia. He also played for Lucon in the lower echelons of French football.
He won 64 caps for the Squirrels of Benin, scoring two goals.
