PWD Social Club of Bamenda defensive midfielder popularly know as “The Destroyer” has called on his teammates and other footballers in Cameroon to keep fit and stay safe as they have been forced to an unusual break due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“This is a very difficult moment for us but we have to deal with it as professionals. Personally, I train every morning around the quarter and at home to remain in good shape”, Ndeh Collins told kick442.com.
He equally called on his teammates and other footballers to do all to keep fit and remain safe.
“They should respect the rules of hygiene put in place by the government and the World Health Organisation. They should also try to do some workout everyday to remain fit”, Ndeh Collins said.
He called on all football fans to also follow the rules and be patient because these “rainy days” won’t lass forever.
Ndeh Collins has scored three goals and provided two assists so far this season and his team, PWD Bamenda currently enjoys the top spot of the league’s table.
Since March 17th, all football activities organized by the Cameroon Football Federation, FECAFOOT, have been suspended.
