The opening game of the 2021 Nigeria Beach Soccer League saw the number one ranked beach soccer club in the country, Kebbi Beach Soccer Club (BSC) defeating Badagry BSC 4-2 with the President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Melvin Pinnick in attendance at the Elegushi Beach, Lagos for the opening ceremony on Saturday.
The second Group A game saw Anambra BSC beating Kwara BSC 5-3.
Kebbi and Anambra BSC seats at the top of the Group A table ahead of Sunday games.
In Group B, Igbogbo Beach Soccer Club (BSC) defeated Habitel Foundation BSC, Edo 6-3, while Kaduna BSC was victorious over Smart City BSC 6-4.
On Sunday, Badagry BSC will play Kwara BSC in Group A encounter.
Group leaders, Anambra and Kebbi BSC will also square up.
Group B will see Kaduna BSC trade tackles with Habitel Foundation BSC Edo while Igbogbo BSC and Smart City BSC play in a bid to get their first win.
