After defeating Adamu Augie 11-6 on the opening day of the 2020/2021 Kebbi Beach Soccer League (KBSL) Super 4, Atiku Bagudu Beach Soccer Club (BSC) on Thursday increased their chances of winning the inaugural Beach Soccer League with a slim 5-6 win over Kabawan Kanta.
Earlier on, Iliyasu Sports BSC earned their first win of the Super 4 with a comfortable 7-1 victory over Adamu Augie.
Iliyasu Sports initially lost their opening game 2-4 to Kabawan Kanta on Wednesday.

With two matches played, Atiku Bagudu BSC is in a strong position to win the Super 4 with six points from their opening two matches.
However, Kabawan Kanta BSC and Iliyasu Sports BSC are locked on three points each and are both in with a chance of emerging as Champions.
Atiku Bagudu BSC needs to avoid defeat against a strong Iliyasu Sports BSC, to clinch the trophy, while a win for Kabawan Kanta also puts them in contention for the title.
It’s going to be a mouth-watering final day on Friday as the winner of the maiden Kebbi Beach Soccer League will emerge.
