Chief Coach of Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Nationwide side, FC Phoenix Queens says his side will take each game at they come.
He made this assertion after FC Phoenix Queens’ 1-0 win over Lakeside Queens at the knock-out stage of the NWFL Nationwide League, Ijebu Ode centre on Monday.
“The journey of a thousand miles starts with a step. We take the games one by one. These are girls who want to get to the top. We will start from somewhere by winning the first game then go for the next game.” He told www.kick442.com.
“I give thanks to God, the players, and the coaching crew. The players gave their best because if they didn’t take to instructions, we won’t have been able to win the game. I always tell my team to try and do more. Most times I do tell them to put in more tear gas which will destabilise the opponents.” Says Kazeem Hamid.
FC Phoenix Queens will continue their journey towards NWFL Championship promotion when they trade tackles with Omidiran Babes on Tuesday.
