Super Falcons forward, Uchenna Kanu was on target for her Swedish Damallsvenskan side, Linkopings FC as they defeated Växjö 1-0 in the Svenska Cupen Group 1 game on Saturday.
Kanu scored the winning goal for Linkopings FC in the 34th minute to help her side to a slim win.
She scored eight goals in 22 league games in her debut season in Sweden after her transfer from Spanish Primera Division Women’s side, Sevilla.
Linkopings occupied the second position in the Svenska Cupen Group 1 table with six points from two games, the same points as Hacken who has a superior goal difference.
They will play Hacken in their next Svenska Cupen game on March 27, 2021.
