Super Falcons forward, Uchenna Kanu scored her first goal for Mexican Liga MX side, U.A.N.L. Tigres as her club were forced to a 1-1 draw by Guadalajara Chivas on Tuesday.
Kanu scored the first goal of the game in the 52nd minute to give Tigres the lead.
Joseline Montoya equalised for Guadalajara Chivas in the 63rd minute to equal the scoreline at the Estadio Universitario, San Nicolas de Los Garza.
Uchenna Kanu who joined Tigres from the Swedish Dammalsvenskan side, Linkopings FC played her first game for Tigres in a 1-3 away win over Necaxa on January 11, 2022, and played full 90 minutes in both games that she has played so far for her new side.
The 24-year-old Nigerian forward scored 22 goals for Linkopings FC from 2020 to 2021 before moving to the Mexican side.
U.A.N.L. Tigres occupy the third position on the league table with four points from two games and will next face Juarez on January 25, 2022.
