Super Falcons forward, Uchenna Kanu scored two goals for her Swedish Damallsvenskan side, Linköping in their 3-0 win over Umeå in their matchday 14 fixture on Saturday, www.kick442.com can report.
The 23-year-old scored the first goal of the game in the 21st minute before Nejati’s own goal doubled Linköping lead in the 30th minute.
Uchenna Kanu scored her second goal of the match and Linköping’s third in the 83rd minute as she played for 89 minutes and was replaced by Karlsson Tornborg.
The brace ensured that she increased her goal tally this season to seven goals in 14 league games. Her previous goals came against Djurgardens, Umea (first leg), Rosengard, and Uppsala (brace).
Ebere Orji was introduced in the 88th minute for Linköping FC while Chinaza Uchendu was not dressed for the match.
The victory increased Linköping’s total points to 26 in 14 games as they climbed to the third position depending on Kristianstad’s result.
