Kampala Queens WFC has continued to impress in the pre-season build-up games ahead of the 2022/23 FUFA Women Super League season.
The Queens of Soccer earlier today morning secured their second consecutive win in pre-season after a 2-1 victory over St Noa.
Kampala Queens won the first Stanza by 1-0 courtesy of Crested Cranes midfielder Shamirah Nalugya.
In the Second Stanza, St Noa put up a fight and got an equalizer through Kabene Sylivia after miscommunication from the defenders.
With 20 minutes to end the game, Kampala Queens got a freekick after a foul on Zainah Namuleme which was well converted by the Queen from Tooro Sumaya Komuntale.
Sumaya Komuntale known for his heroic freekick against Morocco in WAFCON proved once again her standard.
Kampala Queens now make it 2 wins in a row after over the weekend they beat She Maroons 2-0 in a game played at Luzira Prisons Ground.
The Queens of Soccer looks forward to dethroning League Champions She Corporate FC once the league resumes after finishing second last season.
Kampala Queens who are in preparations will kick off the season with newcomers Asubo Gafford Ladies FC on the 18th of September.
