According to La Republicca, Senegalese defender Kalidou Koulibaly is on his way out of San Paolo with Manchester United, PSG and Manchester City lurking.
The former Metz defender joint Napoli in 2014 from Gent. He has always been on the wishlists of many top European clubs but Napoli have been able to hold on to their prized asset for the last five years.
The Italian Serie A side’s President Aurelio de Laurentiis will be willing to let go the Senegalese, provided he gets the right offer, according to reports from La Republicca.
The Napoli President is on record to have claimed he turned down offers of up to €100 million for the defender in the past.
Napoli might find it difficult to turn down a lucrative offer for the defender next summer, with the outbreak of the Coronavirus likely to take a toll on their finances.
Koulibaly is currently on a salary of €16 million annually, this might be difficult for Napoli to meet up with especially if they fail to nail a place in next seasons UEFA Champions League.
United are reported to lead the chase for the 28-year-old defender.
