Cotonsport of Garoua’s midfielder, Kaiba Djawal has caught the attention of some European clubs who have shown interest in acquiring the services of the player.
The 19-year-old has allegedly charmed FC Brugges, Anderlecht, as well as Sochaux.
The prolific midfield sensation who is Champion of Cameroon with Cotonsport of Garoua, scored 7 goals and provided 9 assists in 32 games played this season.
It was Kaiba Djawal’s goal deep in added time, that canceled out Prince Junior Sime’s goal that had put Eding Sport in front at the 70th minute in the Final of the Elite One Championship in Garoua.
That goal brought the game to a one all draw, resulting to penalties where his side clinched the trophy.
Djawal, has been a very reliable first choice at the midfield for Coach Haman this season and he has never disappointed in his role.
Apparently, it this determination, hardwork and play style that has attracted over three European clubs to request for the services of the young star.
The player has had a very fruitful and satisfactory season at Coton especially playing all 12 CAF confederation cup games for the Elite Champions.
He has been very instrumental in Coton’s Cup of Cameroon run as he and teammates have sailed through to the quater final stage of the competition and will go against AS Fortuna of Mfou.
