kick442.com can confirm we have gathered details that the Norwegian Football federation have contacted their counterparts in charge of Football in Cameroon (FECAFOOT) to seek a chance to play a friendly game against World cup bound Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon before the nations begin the world cup tournament in France in mid June.
Cameroon,South Africa and Nigeria will represent Africa in this summer’s world cup in France but Cameroon has been very silent about their preparation.
Details gathered from local media reports in Norway say, the Norwegian Federation is holding talks with the FECAFOOT for a chance for their women’s face Cameroon on the 2nd of June in France as they also preparing for the world cup.
Kick442.com understands that the Belgian Football federation is also in talks with the Cameroon FA for a similar reason though Belgium will not be sending a team to the world cup.
Norway way is in Group A of this summer’s world cup and face host,France,Korea and African side, Nigeria more reason why they want to play against Cameroon.
Cameroon on their part will benefit from the fixture as in Group E Christine Mani and co face Netherlands,New Zealand and Canada in their second world cup appearance.
