A release from the Sierra Leone Premier League has confirmed the second round of the countrys elite club football competition will resume on International Labour Day. The release read thus;

The Sierra Leone Premier League Board (SLPLB) is informing the general public, especially fervent followers of the ongoing Sierra Leone Premier League that, after consultation with representatives of the thirteen participating Premier League Clubs, it has been unambiguously agreed that, the second leg of the Premier League will start on Wednesday, 1st May, 2019 between Anti Drugs Strikers versus Mighty Blackpool Football Club at the Siaka Stevens Stadium @7:00 Pm Prompt.

The following day Thursday, 2nd May, 2019 Diamond Stars engages Central Parade at the same ground at 7:00 Pm.

The final date for registration of players has also been reached. Clubs has until 16:00 GMT on Friday, 26th April, 2019 to register their players.

The Premier League Board continues to assure Sierra Leone football fans its dedication to bringing the Sierra Leone Premier League to them undeterred.
