Football die-hard Gedadou Usmanu has been appointed team manager (TM) of Cameroon women’s second tier Championship side Ita Mbong FC.
The decision was handed to the kick442.com team on Sunday, October 3 after the parties involved reached and agreement and completed paperwork to finalize the move.
37-year old Usmanu who spends most of his life in football environments is expected to bring on board his Football knowledge accumulated over the years to help spur the Northwest outfit to the top-flight Championship after their near miss last term.
The TM has vowed to collaborate with the rest of the staff to take the club to their dreamland.
“Last year the team participated in the Interpools. This is an indication that a good job has been done so far. We will do our best to build on this and why not try to secure promotion. I am here to serve and serve a club I like. It is honour and I will do my best,” Usmanu told kick442.com.
The former auxillary staff of Bang Bullets FC who also has close ties with PWD of Bamenda is expected to head the administrative affairs of Ita Mbong FC amongst other duties to ensure licenses and other documentations are ready and on time to enhance the smooth running of the team.

Ita Mbong Ladies FC nicknamed the Zionists lost to Lekie FC in the second round play-offs for promotion to the top-flight last term but the arrival of Usmanu who watched all the games in that competition could just be the completion of the missing part in the puzzle.
The Club will participate in the Guinness Super League 2 when the new season gets underway in the weeks ahead.
