23 of 26 club in of the Southwest regional championship have received their COVID-19 subventions. This funds are meant to compensate clubs that incurred financial losses during the 9 months lockdown imposed by the novel COVID pandemic that is rocking the entire football world to date.
Kick44.com had indicated prior to the Southwest regional league GA which held on Sunday 12th of December in the bureau’s conference hall, that President Thomas Ndive and Secretary General Sylvester Esowe would ensure that all 26 participating clubs who comply with the criteria (Momo) will receive these funds immediately the season kickstarts.
The following clubs are yet to complete the formalities for eligibility: Cinyodev FA Buea, Little Foot and Kumba Lakers.
