Sources at FECAFOOT have told that the new Football season in Cameroon will begin on the 16th of February 2019.

The 12 clubs championship played on home and away basis will bring women’s Football back to the pitch for the first time since November 2018 when the cup of Cameroon final was played between Louves Minproff of Yaounde and Eclair FF De Sa’a.

Louves Minproff will enter the new season as the team to beat after doing the double in the 2018 season.
Louves Minproff won the league one championship in style and punished Eclair FF Sa’a in the cup final to complete the double.

Indomitable Lionesses,Abena Ninon,Meyong Menene all play for the defending champions while Lioness Goalkeeper,Annette Ngo Ndom play for cross town rivals Amazone FAP.

The resumption of the Women’s elite local championship 4 months before the world cup will give coach Joseph Ndoko some time to have a closer look at the players currently playing back in Cameroon ahead of the world cup in France.
