Arta Solar 7 is fast becoming an household name not just in Djibouti but Africa as a whole.
The football club who last year captured former Arsenal, Barcelona and Cameroon international, Alex Song have now added Diafra Sakho to their ranks per a tweet from African football hub Nuhu Adams.
The former West Ham United striker Diafra Sakho who is 31 joined the Djibouti league champions on a free transfer.
The former Senegalese international who also had spells with Metz, Boulogne, Rennes and Bursaspor is expected to help make the club a force to reckon with on the continent.
Diafra Sakho has been unattached since August 2020 but now joins a number of stars in the Djiboutian club preparing for next season’s CAF Champions debut.
Former Cameroon international Dany Nounkeu also make the list of African players who had played in top European clubs to join Arta Solar 7.
They also boast of the duo of Nigeria’s Akinbinu Samuel and Ghanian Gabriel in attack. The duo scored 38 league goals in the just concluded season.
Reports also reaching kick442.com says former Cameroon Idriss Kameni has also joined Arta Solar 7.
Kameni during his playing days spent eight years with Spanish side Espanyol.
Adebayor and Solomon Kalou also heavily linked with Arta Solar 7.
