Nigeria’s Junior Ajayi and his Egyptian Club, Al Ahly has emerged as the 2019-2020 CAF Champions League winners after a 2-1 win over Egyptian rival, Zamalek on Friday, www.kick442.com reports.
Amr Al Sulaya gave Al Ahly the lead in the fifth minute at the Cairo International Stadium (al-Qāhirah).
Mahmoud Abdel Razek Fadlallah (Shikabala) equalised for Zamalek before half time in the 31st minute before Mohamed Magdi Kafsha scored the winning goal for Al Ahly four minutes from time to seal a ninth CAF Champions League title for the Egyptian Giants.
Junior Ajayi started the game for Al Ahly and saw 67 minutes of action before he was replaced by Angola’s Geraldo.
He ended the season with the Egyptian league and CAF Champions League titles.
