Algerian giants JSK Kabylie will touch down in Garoua this Monday ahead of their match-day five CAF Confederation cup group stage game against host Cotonsport of Garoua.
The triple CAF Confederation cup winners are coming to Garoua for the return-leg of the match-day one fixture in which JSK scored at the dead to record a one-nil win.
JS Kabylie come into the encounter on a run of three consecutive draws while Cotonsport are on three wins in a spin.
Wednesday’s fixture is a most-win for Cotonsport and their visitors as the former will reach the quarter-finals with a victory. JSK on their part will see their qualification chance reduce if they are defeated in the game.
Bawak and mates resumed training on Friday after a day off following their victory by 2-0 in their 14th fixture of the season against Canon Yaoundé on Tuesday.
Cotonsport currently lead group B with 9 points while second-seeded Kabylie are on 6 points going into the game.
The 2pm kick off will be played behind closed doors with strict respect of the Covid-19 prevention measures.
The fixture will see the return of former Cotonsport of Garoua and Indomitable Lions of Cameroon trainer Denis Lavagne, who leads the technical team of the visitors.
53-year old Lavagne managed Cotonsport between 2009-2011 but these days guide the 14 champions.
Coach Souleymanou Aboubakar’s Cotonsport have suffered just two defeats in the Confederation against JSK and Unisport of Sokode and three overall in 14 going into the encounter.
