After its 4-0 defeat to Nordsjaelland in the previous game, Danish Women’s Cup Champions, Fortuna Hjorring on Saturday returned to winning ways with a 2-0 triumph against KoldingQ.
Former Confluence Queens player, Joy Omewa scored her third goal for Fortuna Hjorring.
Florentina Olar-Spanu set up Signe Hansen Battrup for Fortuna Hjorring’s first goal of the game in the 78th minute.
Joy Omewa Ogochukwu in the 87th minute doubled her side’s lead.
The goal was her third of the season.
Joy Omewa who didn’t start the game replaced Camilla Larsen in the 84th minute.
Fortuna Hjorring occupies the second position on the Danish Elitedivisionen Women’s table with 52 points, nine points behind Koge, its next and last opponent for the season.
The top two sides have already qualified for the 2022/2023 UEFA Women’s Champions League.
