Josh Maja scored his second Ligue 1 goal of the season in Girondins Bordeaux’s 3-1 away loss to Olympique Marseille on Saturday, www.kick442.com reports.
The 21-year-old London born player scored Bordeaux solitary goal in the 83rd minute at the Orange Vélodrome as he came off the bench after replacing Hatem Ben Arfa in the 66th minute. He scored his first league goal of the season against Angers during Bordeaux’s 0-2 win on August 30.
Florian Thauvin scored the first goal of the game for Olympique Marseille in the 5th minute. Jordan Amavi increased their lead in the 54th minute before an own goal from Castro Pablo in the 64th minute compounded Bordeaux’s woes.
Bordeaux occupied the 10th position on the French Ligue 1 table with nine points from seven games. They will host Nîmes in their next game on October 25.
