Former NQSA and Cotonsport of Garoua forward Joseph Agbor Yanki was the star of the show as Southwest Regional Championship contenders LIFCA of Limbe fought back from a one nil deficit to beat FUSSA by nine goals to one in derby game played at the Limbe Centenary Stadium.
All didn’t start as planned for the boys of coach Guy Berlin as FUSSA took the lead in the early phase of the first segment of the game.
The goal surprisingly motivated LIFCA more than it did for FUSSA as by the half time break the visitors had overturned the deficit to lead by 2-1.
LIFCA scored almost upon resumption of the second segment and seemingly didn’t stop scoring until they got nine goals.
Lane Lakem scored twice while Yanki Joseph scored five goals with a goal each from Acha Djoko and Wegha.
At the end if the game, all tongues were talking Joseph Agbor Yanki as he was responsible for five of the nine goals scored by his side.
The forward has been key to his side’s good start to the season as LIFCA remains unbeaten in the league after three games so far.
They have accumulated seven points from a possible nine points ahead of their fourth league game to be programmed this week.
