Italian Serie A side Lazio of Rome have announced a temporal separation with their Cameroon midfielder Joseph Minala.

The 23-year-old has been loaned out to Quingdao Huanghai, a Chinese top flight team, till December 2020.

Lazio announced Minala’s departure on their social media pages.

He has featured just in one game for Lazio this season and it was an Italian Cup game.

The Chinese league is currently suspended because of the threat of the deadly Coronavirus. The league was scheduled to start on February 22, 2022

Fans of Qingdao Huanghai will have to wait until the storm of the virus is over to see their Cameroon midfielder in action.

Joseph-Marie Minala who was born in Yaoundé on August 26, 1996 joint Lazio in 2014. He has had loan spells with Bari, Latina and Salernitana.

The Cameroon U-23 international failed to break into Lazio’s first team and will be hoping for better fortunes in the Chinese top flight.
