Jose Mourinho has managed to draw attention and catch a sight of controversy even at a time when football is on hold and the world at a standstill.
A video of Jose Mourinho and three Tottenham Hotspur players working out on Wednesday emerged on social media, which had the management and some fans of the London Club unimpressed.
Social distancing is one of the measures currently being used by countries around the globe to curb the Coronavirus spread, and Jose Mourinho is reported not to have placed emphasis on the rule when the lads were working out.
Davinson Sanchez and young Englishman Ryan Sessegnon could be seen on the footage trotting within two meters, exactly what the British government has somewhat abolished for now, due to the global Coronavirus pandemic.
The three players who attended the session were Ndombele, Sanchez and Sessegnon with Mourinho as trainer, on the Hadley Common in north London.
A spurs spokesman told theguardian.com in the later hours of Wednesday that:”All of the players have been reminded to respect social distancing when exercising outdoors. We shall continue to reinforce this message.”
Jose Mourinho is clearly missing his job as every other individual associated with football. The gaffer would however know better than carrying players out for any tentative training session again, as stakeholders have their eyes fixed on him.
