Former FC Lokeren Academy forward Jordan Botoka has agreed a four-year-deal to join Belgian side La Gantoise from rivals Sint-Truiden.
The 26-year-old DR Congo international who began his professional career in Belgium but left for abroad before returning in 2017.
The ex Leeds winger scored four goals and provided five assists in 30 games in all competitions in the colours of Sint-Truiden in the just ended season.
His 16 goals, 13 assists from 103 games for the club has convinced La Gantoise to pay €600000 in bringing him to the Ghelamco Arena.
Botaka has expressed his delight about the move and open up on his target.
“My ambitions at the club is qualify for the champions league and of course win titles with my new club” he stated.
It’s the fourth Belgian club for the Leopard of Congo winger with four goals from 16 caps since switching international allegiance to DR Congo after featuring for the Netherlands at youth level.
