The number of players contracting the coronavirus doesn’t look like it is going to end soon as another African son announced he tested for the ravaging virus on Sunday.
Ghanian striker Jordan Ayew gave the news via his twitter handle that he has tested positive for the virus.
The Crystal Palace striker said this evening:
”Sadly, I have tested positive for Covid-19 & have begun my quarantine in line with the health guidance.
Thankfully, I am feeling fine & do not have any symptoms.
I will be cheering the boys on from home & look forward to being back on the pitch soon.”
Senegalese forward Sadio Mane of Liverpool was announced to have come down with the virus a couple of weeks ago, but he came back this week.
It is hoped that Ayew will be back soon to do what he knows how to do best.
