Philadelphia 76ers beat the Brooklyn Nets 4-1 in the first round of the NBA playoffs to advance to the Eastern conference semi finals
This is the second year the men of coach Brett Brown are succeeding to get to this level after they got passed a *Miami Heat side led by Dwayne Wade,* before crashing out of the semi’s to Boston Celtics last year.
25-year-old All-star, Joel Embiid and a host of other stars: Jimmy Butler and Ben Simmons came back in the series, winning four games in spin after loosing the first game of the series.
Embiid’s health is a big concern going forward, as he missed out on game 3 of the series due to a sore knee. Nevertheless, he averaged an impressive 24.7 points, 13.7 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks putting him in the mix for the MVP of the playoffs together with Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Buks.
