Super Eagles of Nigeria and Glasgow Rangers midfielder, Joe Aribo is set to move from the Scottish Premiership to the English Premier League ahead of the 2022/2023 season.
According to online football transfer expert, Fabricio Romano, the former Charlton Athletic player will undergo medical tests in the next few days in order to complete his move to Southampton.
The transfer packages for Joe Aribo’s move to The Saints include a £6m fee plus add-ons, and a £10m total package to Rangers.
Personal terms have been agreed between the player and club as he will be the next signing for Southampton after Lavia.
Aribo has spent the last three seasons with Glasgow Rangers scoring eight goals with five assists last season in the league.
He scored Rangers’ lone goal in the 2021/2022 UEFA Europa League final as his team suffered a 5-4 penalty defeat to Germany Bundesliga side, Eintracht Frankfurt after a 1-1 scoreline in regulation time.
Joseph Oluwaseyi Temitope Ayodele-Aribo (full name) won the Scottish Premiership with Rangers at the end of the 2020/2021 season as well as the Scottish Cup in the 2021/2022 season.
