19-year-old German-Cameroonian Jessic Ngankam is closing in on a reward for his brilliant season with the reserves of Hertha Berlin.
Despite interest from multiple Bundesliga and European clubs, the boy with ties in the West Region of Cameroon is set to snub Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, FC Nürnberg and Rex Bull Salzburg to sign a new long term deal to keep him at Hertha.
Ngankam stood out with Hertha Berlin’s reserves last season, scoring 11 goals plus 11 assists in 22 games.
The outstanding display has provided him a first professional contract offer from Hertha who see him as one for the future.
The former onus are on the player’s entourage to decide what is best for their wonderkid.
It is nearly certain that Ngankam will be in the ranks of a top-flight club next season.
