Indomitable Lions of Cameroon and Young Boys Bern forward Jean-Pierre Nsame has scored his 13th goal of another promising season for the Swiss champions.
Coach Gerrardo Soane invested trust in Jean-Pierre Nsame and compatriot Moumie Ngamaleu from the start while Cameroon-eligible Jordan Siebatcheu had to settle for a place on the bench.
Nsame scored in the 20th minute for a determined Young Boys Bern side that was keen on returning to winning ways after their defeat last time out.
Elia Mesack set Gerardo Soane’s men on their way to victory when he scored the opener eight minutes before Nsame doubled the lead.
The game stayed on the two-nil score till the break.
Young Boys Bern remained the better side in the second segment of the game domination and getting closer to getting another goal but finishing was their undoing.
Coach Soane in an attempt to get the insurance goal added more attacking energy by introducing Gaudino in place of Moumie Ngamaleu in the 72nd minute.
The game’s third goal looked more unlikely as the clock ticked towards full-time.
Jean-Pierre Nsame has scored 13 goals and provided five assist in 20 games for the Swiss champions so far in all competitions.
The victory solidifies Young Boys’ lead at the top of the Swiss Super League after match-day 12 games.
They are five points better than FC Basel ahead of their match-day 13 clash at home to Lugano.
