Young Boys Berne’s Jean Pierre Nsame reached yet another milestone in his remarkable career in Switzerland on Sunday as he scored his 100th competitive goal in the colors of the club during their 1-1 draw at home against Grasshopper.
In his first start of the season, Nsame who scored his 99th goal Young Boys in their win against Liepaja in the UEFA Conference League didn’t dissapoint.
Nsame opened scores in the 31st minute to become the fourth player to achieve the feat.

The reliable goal poacher somehow missed a penalty in the 45th minute which ended up being costly as the visitors leveled scores through Renat Dadashov four minutes into the second segment.
Coach Raphaël Wicky replaced Nsame 12 minutes from time while his club and compatriot colleague Moumie Ngamaleu lasted the duration of the game just another Cameroon international Nsiy William Ndengue.
The matchday three game ended on the 1-1 score, meaning Young Boys drop points for the first time this season but remain atop the championship with seven points.
It’s true that tap-ins of this variety have become more commonplace for Nsame but the latest strike was a very special touch home in that regard.
Although he endured a troubled last year – due to injury and his loan move, he has still managed to set a record by reaching the goals 100 mark.
Only a brave punter would bet against Nsame going on to add more to that tally as, while he is now nearing his peak age, he continues to play a key role for Young Boys Berne.
