As expected Cameroonian forward Jean-Pierre Nsamé could leave Young Boys Berne this summer.

Kick442.com has gathered from its always reliable sources that the Cameroonian forward could join Glasgow Rangers managed by England legend Steven Gerrard this summer.

We understand the player has spoken with the Rangers manager and could be on his way to Glasgow after concluding the current campaign with Young Boys Berne.

Gerrard is said to have been impressed by the forward’s performance when Young Boys Berne played against Glasgow Rangers in the group stages of this season’s UEFA Europa League.

We understand the Scottish Club are willing to pay €4.2 Million to bring the forward to Ibrox.

Nsamé joined Young Boys Berne on a five-year-deal in the summer of 2017 and has been a great acquisition for the Club since then.

The former Servette forward has single-handedly contributed in 43% of the Club’s goals this term, scoring 30 and assisting three of their 76 League goals this term.

In all, Nsamé who is rated at €5 Million according to Transfermarkt has scored 67 goals, providing 15 assists in 126 games for the Swiss Super League Champions
-in-waiting.

Everton, West Ham United, Tottenham Hotspur and AS Saint Etienne have also been linked with a move for the 27-year-old contracted in Berne till the summer of 2023.
