Cameroon Elite Two outfit OFTA of Kribi are set to announce the arrival of a new head coach in charge of the first team in the days ahead.

Jean Sébastien Bata Ntjam was presented to members of the Club’s executive committee in a general assembly meeting this Saturday.

He is set to replace coach Casimir Mangue who separated with the Club on mutual consent just under two weeks ago.

The former Eding Sport de la Lekie trainer knows exactly what OFTA is in search of as he was a part of Eding’s technical staff when they speedily moved from the third tier Championship to the top-flight.

OFTA of Kribi have manifested their desire to move to the top-flight Championship as soon as results permit.

Coach Bata is an experienced coach with stints abroad most recently last year in Chad.

OFTA will be one of at least 12 Clubs in competition for places available for promotion to the top-flight Championship next season.
